Absolutely great place, I really enjoyed amiable personnel.
It made my trip to Kerken an enjoyable experience. Wanted to explore Kerken and this hotel was nice base for doing it. The location was great for exploring this nice quiet area, not far from very good Irish pub, trains and walking into Kerken centre, and Germany. Btw, Michael Buyx Haus was placed just 1 km from the property.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to walking into Kerken centre, a pub, and Germany. Our room was large and provided with tea/coffee, pleasant view, for example as expected. The vibe here was quiet...

I must say, the decoration at this hotel was simply lovely. The cozy lounge area had beautiful antique furniture, which made it feel like stepping back in time. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were also well-maintained and provided ample seating for relaxation. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by how accessible the hotel was for senior people like myself. The staff kindly assisted me with my bags and ensured that I had everything I needed to comfortably navigate the premises.
If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have handrails installed in the hallways and staircases. This would provide extra support and stability, especially for those with mobility concerns.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even provided us with a delicious packed lunch when we had to leave early for our trip. The restaurant served top-notch German cuisine, although a bit pricey, it was some of the best food I've ever had. The hotel's location was convenient for both trains and walking into the town center. The free parking and clean facilities were a bonus. Our room was comfortable and the entire hotel had a welcoming atmosphere. I can't emphasize enough how the friendly and helpful staff made our stay memorable. If I ever make the same trip again, this is definitely where I'll be staying.

The location was also convenient, as it was close to the train station and within walking distance of the city center. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety of choices and was of a high quality. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, I was pleased to find a very good Irish pub not far from the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious with a nice big bathroom. the breakfast provided had a good quality and there was an adequate choice of food. the location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to main routes and within walking distance to the town center. I also liked the fact that there was free parking available just across the road.
The towels in the room were a bit worn and could have been of better quality. It was also a bit inconvenient to have only one mirror in the room, especially when it got steamed up after showering.
